Our Strategy

Investing in the future with green, clean and renewable energy power plants, Galata Wind is committed to expanding its portfolio only with renewable energy activities in the future. In line with the investment vision of its main shareholder, Doğan Holding, the company continues to contribute to the Turkish economy with its modest, well-equipped and swift team. Pursuing to work for a sustainable future since its establishment, Galata Wind invests into tomorrow with its efficient power plants in its portfolio.

Galata Wind commits to expand its portfolio to a total of 500-550 MW with only renewable energy investments via capacity extensions inside its own power plants, new wind and solar plant acquisitions in Turkey, participation in government tenders, and acquisition/project development of small and medium-scale power plants abroad. The ultimate goal of the Company is to create a green, climate sensitive, clean, sustainable and predictable profit margin and cash flow for its investors by adding renewable power plants with purchase guarantees (FITs) and long-term bilateral agreements (PPAs) to its portfolio. Headquartered in Üsküdar, Istanbul, Galata Wind's Şah Wind Farm is located in Balıkesir/Bandırma; Mersin Wind Farm is located in Mersin/Mut; Taşpınar Wind Farm is in Bursa/Nilüfer; Çorum Solar Plant is in Çorum/Center; and Erzurum Solar Plant is located in Erzurum/Aziziye- Hınıs-Karayazı.
