In the first half of 2024, Galata Wind's consolidated revenues reached TL 977.4 million, while profit before tax increased by 2.6% to TL 595.8 million.
Galata Wind posted consolidated revenues of TL 977.4 million in the first half of 2024. The commissioning of the Taşpınar Hybrid power plant contributed to further consolidate the operational strength of the company. In the first half of 2024, the company's gross profit and EBITDA amounted to TL 523.6 million and TL 714.2 million, respectively. In addition, the revenue generation performance of the plants within the scope of YEKDEM was effective thanks to the increase in USD/TL parity.
Profit before tax increased by 2.6% to TL 595.8 million as a result of lower financial expenses compared to the same period last year and the impact of monetary position gains. These strong financial results reaffirm Galata Wind's commitment to sustainable growth targets and operational excellence. Galata Wind continues to move forward on its sustainable growth targets by focusing on renewable energy investments and operational efficiency.
Commenting on the company's first half-year financial results, Galata Wind CEO Burak Kuyan said; "As Galata Wind, we continue our investments in line with our growth strategy and 2025 targets. By the end of 2024, we plan to increase our installed capacity to over 350 MW with the commissioning of Mersin WPP and the second phase of Taşpınar Hybrid SPP plant. In addition to all these, we continue our efforts to reach our 2025 growth target of 550 MW with the European investments we started with our Galata Wind Energy Global company, which we established abroad, and then to reach 1000 MW in 2030 with investments in Europe and Turkey."
